What A Party!

Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful evening!! Good friends... Good food . . .(thanks to Lins for their generosity in donating the hot dogs and buns!) and to everyone for all the sides that were brought!! And good fun...pulling cornstalks (Julie Schram, Julie Williams, Jason Godfrey and Mia Bunting get the "BEST CORNSTALK DIGGER" award!!), okra (Suzi and Mark Nilsson have the corner on the market there!), green beans picked, and all the PEANUTS PULLED!! WAHOO! And then there was the "Longest Peanut" contest, with Sheriff Smith as the JUDGE!! Nothing got by him as he checked from every angle! When it was all said and done, Porter Dover won first place, and Savannah Godfrey was a close second! Both got a big bottle of bubbles to take home!! Way to go kids!! Thanks to everyone for sharing in the fun of the garden!! Just wait until SPRING!!
